Seedscout is built to keep to itself. This is the whole story: the app works fully offline, so there is almost nothing to collect and nothing to send.

This document is a plain-language draft prepared for legal review. It describes Seedscout version 1, which is a fully offline app.

The short version

• No accounts and no sign-in.
• No ads.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry. Seedscout includes no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• Your search stays on your device. The text you type is read and parsed on-device and is not sent anywhere.
• Nothing leaves your device. Seedscout does not transmit your data off the device.

What is stored on your device

A few things live only in on-device storage so the app can work and remember your purchase:

• The search index that Seedscout searches to find seeds.
• Your entitlement, a local record of whether you have unlocked the app.
• A small rating counter that helps decide when to ask, at most, whether you would like to rate the app.

This information stays on your device. We do not receive it. Removing the app removes it.

In-app purchases

The one-time unlock is a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see or store your payment details.

Children's privacy

Seedscout is a general-audience app. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the page and the date above. If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits data, we will update this policy first and describe exactly what changes before that version ships.
